Are you naturally curious? Does telling the story derived from data or a series of group discussions stimulate you? Are you a resourceful and creative thinker? We’re looking for the individual that can design and execute qualitative and quantitative research to inform our marketing strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plans, executes, and provides strategy-based research and advisory services to clients and internal teams
• Communicates ideas and solutions to strategic marketing-related problems by presenting data-based insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams (bringing the voice of the customer)
• Expert at managing multiple complex projects
• Prepares research proposals, surveys and focus group materials
• Leads research projects that provide insight into customer perceptions, target audiences, brand development, and marketing communications
• Moderates focus groups, in-depth interviews, intercept interviews, etc.
• Oversees data collection and data quality
• Evaluates sample representativeness and identifies weighting targets
• Conducts data analyses and prepares reports
• Provides data-driven marketing recommendations
• Participates in client presentations
• Conducts competitive landscape and market opportunity assessments
• Ensures all projects are on time and on budget
• Assists managing partners, director of market research and other team members with business development projects, including cultivating key client relationships and the creation and presentation of proposals to potential partners
• Works with account executives, creative designers, copywriter, PR and marketing professionals, and media buyers/planners to oversee primary and secondary research projects from start to finish

Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and
• 5-7 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Master’s degree a plus

Tools:
• Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiar with DIY survey platforms (SurveyGizmo, SurveyMonkey, or Qualtrics) and statistical software (SAS or SPSS)
