The media buyer/planner is responsible for creating and executing media campaigns across all clients. This individual works with senior media staff and account teams to map marketing objectives to media campaign strategies. This role is responsible for reporting on key performance indicators and ensuring program success. The media buyer/planner creates and executes optimization strategies to continually improve performance and drive growth across media campaigns.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Builds search, display, pre-roll, social, traditional and other campaigns within platforms or vendors
Creates media plans overseen by senior media staff for media accounts in the small to mid-sized budget level
Executes buying and billing functions for campaign plans
Prepares and presents reports, insights and growth opportunities to clients
Supports account service and new business teams with research and recommendations for clients and prospects
Participates in client and new business presentations as needed
Delivers recommendations for growth and new channels to senior media staff and the account service team
Stays on top of trends in the media space, presenting new solutions and opportunities to agency stakeholders
Traffics ad placements as needed through internal platforms (Campaign Manager) or direct-to-vendor needs
Completes campaign setup and entry as needed in platforms or direct with vendors
Negotiates placements for client campaigns
Assists with training and mentorship of junior staff
* 1+ years of media experience
* Experience with the following channels and platforms a plus:
Google marketing platform: Display & Video 360, Search Ads 360, Campaign Manager
Google Tag Manager
* Organized and attentive to details
* Knowledge of media concepts and tools
* Hardworking, energetic and flexible; able to handle multiple priorities, constant change and last-minute requests
* Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
