Every month or so, we feature a talk hosted by a local guru of a specific discipline. And once a year we bring in a national guru, for added inspiration.
Throughout the year, the RAF creates programming specific to broadcast production and ideation, including a review of recent Cannes Lions winners and the year’s latest crop of Super Bowl advertising.
COMMUNITY PARTNER EVENTS
The RAF partners with Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) and AIGA to co-host several events throughout the year aimed at students and professionals alike.
Our quarterly freelancer forum is geared towards those working for themselves or in small teams. Need help running a social media campaign? How about hiring on your first employee? These are just some of the things Freelance members face in their daily lives and we’re here to help solve these challenges. We will bring in professionals at the top of their fields to cover a variety of subject matter catered specifically to our freelance members.

ROCHESTER AD WEEK (R/ADWEEK)
R/ADWEEK is a five-day series of special events and programs featuring local and national creative leaders and speakers. The goal of R/ADWEEK is to inspire and educate members of the Rochester advertising community through informative speakers, thoughtful panel discussions and sessions designed to elicit a conversations on advertising today.
AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS ("THE ADDYS")
Better dust off your tie, this annual awards show is the Oscars of the Rochester ad community. The biggest night in Advertising draws hundreds of the most creative people in the business under one roof, all to see if their work shine. The stakes are high to see who takes home the most hardware, on a local and national level. One word to describe the ADDYS? Electric.
